Your "side-skits" remind me of early MovieBob's GameOverthinker series.
Slime-kun - great idea, loved the grow-and-split manipulation puzzles.
I think it could get decently popular if it was polished and expanded.
I'd play it :)
Also, since exporting to different platforms in Godot is pretty straightforward you could do a Linux version as well.
